Occult VJ Loops – Blackframe Compilation | Dark Visuals for Clubs, Concerts & LED Screens
Download Royalty Free VJ Clips Collection with Glowing Sigils and Glitch Textures by LIME ART GROUP
Blackframe is a compilation of occult VJ loops built for dark rooms. First of all, the whole set is mirrored and centred. Because of that, each sigil reads as a symbol rather than a texture. Crosses and ringed glyphs burn out of a black field. Meanwhile, white particle bursts explode toward the camera. In addition, glitch columns tear the frame into vertical strips.
The palette stays almost pure black and white throughout. As a result, the clips remain legible even at low stage brightness. A few frames add gold, and several carry prismatic rainbow fringing. Others hold hooded figures and mirrored classical statues. Above all, the black field swallows the screen edge on a dark stage. 50 loops, Full HD, 25 to 29 frames per second.
Produced by VJ’s for VJ’s
Dark Ritual Visuals for Heavy Music, Horror and Immersive Stages
Blackframe belongs to rooms that stay dark all night. Metal, industrial and doom promoters use it behind the band. Meanwhile, techno and darkwave VJs run it as a full set. It also fits horror premieres, Halloween programmes and immersive theatre. Besides live work, editors cut it into trailers and title sequences. For example, horror shorts, occult documentaries and music videos.
Resolume Arena and Avenue read the DXV files on the GPU. Arkaos GrandVJ, MediaMaster, Modul8 and VDMX take the Mov versions. Likewise, MadMapper, Watchout and TouchDesigner accept them as they are. In addition, the clips edit natively in Premiere Pro, After Effects and DaVinci Resolve. Because the field is pure black, they also stack as overlays. Blackframe comes from New Media Artist Alexander Kuiava at LIME ART GROUP in Vienna. Since 2008 the studio has served over 30 000 artists across 100 countries. FAQ about Blackframe – Dark Video Art Collection
Licence and delivery
Does one purchase cover a whole tour?
It covers every tour you play. So the licence allows an unlimited number of your own performances, with no per-show fee. Club nights, festivals, support slots and headline runs are all included. Moreover, it has no expiry date and no territory limit. However, you may not resell the clips or pass them to another artist as their own work.
What happens right after I pay?
The download unlocks at once, in three places. First, it appears in your account on our site. Second, the links arrive in your email. Finally, we open a Google Drive or MEGA folder on request. This pack is large, so that route helps on a slow connection.
Files, formats and playback
What does the Blackframe compilation contain?
- 50 seamless dark video loops
- Full HD 1920×1080 resolution
- 25 to 29 frames per second
- Mov & Dxv encoding
- Ready for Resolume, Arkaos, Modul8, VDMX, MadMapper, Watchout, TouchDesigner
- Permanent royalty-free licence, instant delivery.
Why is the frame rate listed as a range?
Blackframe is a compilation, so the clips come from several productions. Some were rendered at 25 fps, others at 29 fps. In practice this changes nothing on stage. Resolume, Arkaos and Modul8 conform every clip to the project frame rate on playback. However, if you cut them into one timeline in post, set a single project rate first.
Do these work as overlays, and do they loop cleanly?
Every clip is a true seamless loop, with no jump at the join. Because the field is pure black, the files also work as overlays. Set the layer to Add or Screen, and only the sigil or the particles stay visible. As a result, you can burn a symbol over live camera or over a second loop. Moreover, the DXV versions decode on the GPU, so the load stays low.
